What's in each plan
Both plans carry unlimited users. The split is simple. Grow is built to win jobs. Pro adds the tools that run the shop once the jobs come in.
Grow: $247 a month, or $147 with a partner code
- Unlimited users and unlimited email.
- Leads, contacts, pipeline and a structured call cadence.
- Lead capture with the source stamped on every lead.
- Good, better, best quotes with e-signature, deposits and change orders.
- Scheduling and the calendar.
- Review requests, and the public project gallery you embed on your own site.
- Included each month: 1,000 texts, 1,500 call minutes and 250 AI voice commands.
- One tracked phone number.
Pro: $497 a month, or $297 with a partner code
Everything in Grow, plus the operations side:
- Materials inventory across locations, material planning and draft purchase orders.
- Job costing, margin per square foot and the profitability report.
- Time tracking with GPS, pay prep and the crew scoreboard.
- Voice commands, so you can book and create from the truck by talking.
- Smart dispatch that accounts for drive time.
- Call tracking with a separate number for each ad source.
- Advanced reporting.
- Included each month: 1,500 texts, 3,500 call minutes and 500 AI voice commands.
Pro is the same software whether you pay $497 or $297. A partner code is the only difference. Running more than one shop? Add each location for $97 a month.
How partner pricing works
A partner code lowers the price. You get one from a supplier's partner program, then type it in when you sign up. With a code you pay $147 for Grow or $297 for Pro. Without a code you pay $247 for Grow or $497 for Pro. The software is the same either way. The code just lowers what you pay.
What per-seat pricing really costs you
It costs more than money. When every login has a price, owners share logins. Once logins are shared, you can't tell who did what. And that was the whole reason to measure crews in the first place.
| As the shop grows | Per-seat tool | CoatHQ |
|---|---|---|
| 5 users | Base bill | Flat |
| 10 users | Bill roughly doubles | Unchanged |
| 20 users | Bill climbs again | Unchanged |
| Seasonal crew added for summer | Pay per added seat | No change |
| Giving the whole crew a login | A cost decision | Just do it |
This shows the shape only. We don't post competitors' prices here. They change often, and a stale number is worse than none.
To be fair, per-seat isn't a scam. It works fine for a business where headcount stays put. A coating shop's headcount never does.
We don't take a cut of your money
Card payments run through Stripe, and you connect your own Stripe account. Customer payments land in your account, not ours. The platform takes no percentage. Stripe's own processing fees apply, same as anywhere.
That matters more than it sounds. A platform fee on payments is a tax on growth. It grows with your revenue, and you never stop paying it.
See it on your own job
Twenty minutes. We'll run one of your real jobs through it, then show you what it replaces on your current bill.
Sign up nowIncluded usage, and what counts as extra
Each plan includes a generous monthly allotment of texting, calling and AI voice commands for normal business use. Once you exceed your monthly allotment, extra usage is billed at standard rates, per text, per call minute and per AI command.
Frequently asked questions
How much does CoatHQ cost?
CoatHQ is two plans. Pro is the full platform at $497 a month, or $297 with a partner code. Grow is the lighter plan at $247 a month, or $147 with a partner code. Both include unlimited users and unlimited email. Each extra location is $97 a month.
What is a partner referral?
It is a code from a supplier's partner program that lowers your price. You enter it when you sign up. With a code you pay $147 for Grow or $297 for Pro. Without one you pay $247 for Grow or $497 for Pro. The software is the same either way.
Do you charge per user or per seat?
No. Users are unlimited, so installer six, ten or twenty doesn't change the bill. Your cost per head goes down as you grow.
Do you take a cut of customer payments?
No. You connect your own Stripe account, and customer money goes straight to you. Stripe's own processing fees still apply.
Are features locked behind higher tiers?
Some are. Grow covers leads, quotes, scheduling and reviews. Inventory, job costing, the crew scoreboard, voice commands and multi number call tracking are on Pro. What is never gated is users. Both plans are unlimited, so you are not choosing between a feature and giving your crew logins.
Is there a contract or a free trial?
Ask on the demo. Terms depend on the shop, and we would rather tell you straight than post something here that turns out different for you.
